Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- After being named Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the WNBA on Thursday, Minnesota's Maya Moore can now add All-Defensive Second Team honors to her resume, the league announced Friday.

This is the first All-Defensive team honor for Moore. In her fourth season with Minnesota, Moore averaged 23.9 points and 8.1 rebounds for the Lynx while starting all 34 games during the regular season.

She also tallied 1.9 steals per game and 0.8 blocks per game. She joins Alana Beard, Tamika Catchings, Sylvia Fowles, and Danielle Robinson on the All-Defensive Second Team.
