Minnesota's Parise Goes on Injured Reserve

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise has been placed on injured reserve after missing the team's past two games with a lower body injury, it was announced on Saturday.

Parise has 15 goals and 12 assists in 37 games played this season for the Wild, with the 29-year-old ranking fourth in the league with eight power play goals and fifth with 44 shots.

Minnesota called up goaltender Johan Gustafsson from the American Hockey League (AHL) to take Parise's spot on the active roster, but the Minneapolis, Minn. native can be recalled at any time from injured reserve.
