Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen and forward Maya Moore have been named to the all-WNBA first team and guard Seimone Augustus has earned second team honors, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Moore, who finished second this season in MVP voting, average 18.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this year for the Lynx, with both of those marks being new career highs.
Whalen, meanwhile, had perhaps the best season of her career after averaging a career-best 14.9 points while adding 5.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game for Minnesota.
Augustus was also stellar this year for the Lynx, averaging 16.3 points per game while shooting a career-best 51.6% from the field.
Minnesota finished the regular season with a record of (26-8) and will begin play Thursday night against Phoenix in the Western Conference Finals.
