Baltimore, MD (NNCNOW.com) --- It had been the Chris Davis show for the first four games of the year. But on Saturday night, the Twins kept Davis quiet and Justin Morneau hit a clutch single to send Minnesota to a 6-5 win over Baltimore.

In a tie game in the top of the ninth with two on and two outs, Morneau singled up the middle to score Aaron Hicks and give the Twins a one run lead. Glen Perkins pitched a perfect ninth inning to preserve the win.

Chris Parmelee hit his first home run of the season in the third inning, bringing in Ryan Doumit to score. Brian Dozier, Doumit, and Trevor Plouffe each finished with a RBI.

The rubber match between the Twins and Orioles is set for Sunday, April 7 at 12:35 p.m.
