Morneau cleared to play opener

Toronto (Northland's NewsCenter) - Minnesota Twins first baseman Justin Morneau has been cleared medically to start in Friday night's opener in Toronto. According to a report on the team's web site, Morneau will start for the Twins and bat fourth. Morneau, who suffered a concussion last July and missed the remainder of last season, batted .152 with three doubles in spring training.
