Green Bay, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy was voted by the Pro Football Writers of America as their Rookie of the Year for 2013, it was announced on Tuesday after setting franchise rookie records this fall.
Lacy finished with 1,178 rushing yards during the regular season to go along with 11 touchdowns to lead all NFL rookies. Those numbers also set Packers franchise rookie records.
He was name the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month for October as well as the league's Offensive Player of the Week after Week 15. His four 100-yard rushing games tied him for the most among NFL rookies.
Vikings' kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team as a part of the Special Teams.
