Newark, NJ (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Minnesota native and New Jersey captain Zach Parise scored a first period goal as the Devils beat Los Angeles 2-1 on Saturday in game five of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Justin Williams pulled the Kings even in the second period, but New Jersey's Bryce Salvador also scored in the middle frame to account for the game-winning goal.
New Jersey still trails in this best-of-seven series, down three games to two after losing the first three games to the Kings.
Parise and the Devils will now go back to Los Angeles for a game six, which is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CST on Monday. That game can be seen in the Northland on KBJR6 and Range11.
