Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Vikings running backs Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart are both officially listed as inactive for the team's game this afternoon against Philadelphia, the team announced at about 10:30 a.m.

Peterson and Gerhart were both injured in Minnesota's game last week against Baltimore and were officially listed as questionable for today's game against the Eagles.

Minnesota's primary running back for the game is now expected to be Matt Asiata, with Joe Banyard and Jerome Felton available for some spot duty.

Other Minnesota inactives include tight end John Carlson, cornerbacks Chris Cook and Xavier Rhodes, and quarterback Josh Freeman.
