Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- One day after Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor said he'd prefer Kevin Love stay with the team next season, the Cleveland Cavaliers are now reportedly open to involving top 2014 draft pick Andrew Wiggins in a potential deal with Minnesota.
The Cavaliers last week won the LeBron James sweepstakes and signed him to a two-year, $40 million contract, and now Bob Finnan of The News-Herald & The Morning Journal reports James wants Love as a teammate.
The Timberwolves have been reluctant to make that move, though, without the inclusion of Wiggins, the 6-foot-8 swingman taken No. 1 overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.
Finnan's report says the Cavaliers are now open to including Wiggins in a deal for Love but does not mention any specific talks between the two sides.
Love is entering the final year of his contract with Minnesota and will become an unrestricted free agent after the 2014-15 season.
