Green Bay, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Green Bay Packers officially listed Aaron Rodgers as "out" for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Matt Flynn will start in his place, the team announced on Friday afternoon.
Rodgers has yet to receive medical clearance for his fractured collarbone that he suffered against the Chicago Bears. Instead, Flynn will make his fourth straight start for the Packers.
"He's not medically cleared," said head coach Mike McCarthy. "That's still the case. As an organization, we don't feel that this is the right time for him to play."
Green Bay still controls its own playoff destiny. If the Packers beat the Steelers on Sunday and the Bears in Week 17, they'll clinch the NFC North.
Rodgers did not speak to the media on Friday.
