The Green Bay Press Gazette is reporting today Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers practiced for the second straight day on Friday and is listed as probable on the team's injury report.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy was quoted after practice, “I thought Aaron Rodgers looked fine. From my perspective, he’s ready to go. Unless there’s any type of setback between now and the game, he’ll play. … he’s passed all the tests.”
Green Bay also singed Friday morning DE Michael Montgomery, who was on the field in time for Friday's practice. He was signed this morning to take the roster spot of linebacker Nick Barnett, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve after undergoing wrist surgery on Wednesday. Mongtomery played for the Packers from 2005-2009. He signed with the Vikings in the off season but was released.
Green Bay hosts the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The game can be seen on CBS3, kickoff at noon. Green Bay holds a (3-2) record, while Miami enters Lambeau Field with a (2-2) mark.
