Detroit, MI (NNCNOW.com) --- Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was fined $100,000 on Tuesday for his low block on Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan during Sunday's game but avoided a suspension for the hit.

The fine is Suh's sixth of his career for a total of $177,500. Suh was suspended for two games on Thanksgiving in 2011 for stomping on the arm of a Green Bay lineman.

Before Tuesday's fine, Suh's largest previous fine was $30,000 for kicking Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin on Thanksgiving.
