Newark, NJ (NNCNOW.com) --- Superior, Wis. native Mike Sislo was one of eight players assigned Wednesday to the American Hockey League (AHL) by the New Jersey Devils, that less than 24 hours after he appeared on ESPN's "Top 10 Plays."

Sislo scored the game-winning goal in New Jersey's 2-1 preseason win over Philadelphia on Tuesday night, an effort for which he earned the number nine spot on ESPN's daily countdown.
