T'Wolves Fall to Raptors in Final Seconds

April 5, 2013 Updated Apr 5, 2013 at 8:28 PM CST

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Ricky Rubio had a chance to tie the game with two free throws in the last five seconds of the game. He made the first and watched as the second rimmed out. That was all Toronto needed to pull out a 95-93 win on the road Friday night.

Rubio finished with 13 points for Minnesota, but the Timberwolves were led by Andrei Kirilenko who had 20 points and six rebounds and Nikola Pekovic with 24 points and eight rebounds.

The loss puts Rick Adelman's milestone night on hold. Adelman is one win shy of reaching 1,000 career victories. The Timberwolves now sit at (28-47). Minnesota hosts Detroit Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Target Center.
