Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- For the first since 2007, the Minnesota Timberwolves will have a starter in the NBA All-Star game after forward Kevin Love was named the final starter in the Western Conference on Thursday.
Love is averaging 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Wolves through 40 games this season. His 35 double-doubles leads the NBA after missing much of season with a variety of injuries.
The All-Star game selection process is based on voting by fans. Love ousted Dwight Howard by 8,000 votes to claim the last spot and his third All-Star game appearance.
