Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love re-fractured his right hand in the third quarter against Denver on Jan. 3, the same hand he injured in the offseason that kept him out of nine games to start the year.

Love originally suffered a fracture of his third and fourth metacarpal in his right hand on Oct. 17, with the original injury coming while he was doing knuckle pushups as part of an offseason workout.

The two-time NBA All-Star has averaged 18.3 points and 14.0 rebounds per game this season, having appeared in 18 games for the Timberwolves.
