Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Minnesota Timberwolves and the NBA announced the 2012-13 schedule on Thursday evening, and Minnesota will open the year at home for the 12th straight season.
The Timberwolves will host Sacaramento on November 2 to kick off the regular season, marking the start of the team's 24th season.
Minnesota will play 14 nationally televised games this year, the most since 2005-06, but the local broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
The team will enjoy one six-game homestand and one four-game homestand at the Target Center in Minneapolis but will also play through two four-game road trips in 2012-13.
