Baltimore, MD (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Twins were down 3-0 early against Baltimore but used an all-around team effort to come back and beat the Orioles, 4-3.
Justin Morneau got Minnesota on the board with a double in the top of the third and scored Pedro Florimon and Joe Mauer to cut the lead to one. Then in the seventh, Chris Parmelee continued his big offensive weekend with a sacrifice fly and rookie Aaron Hicks singled in Wilkin Ramirez to give the Twins the lead.
Pedro Hernandez pitched five solid innings for Minnesota, allowing three earned runs while striking out three. Anthony Swarzak got the win for the Twins, and Glen Perkins recorded his second save of the season.
Minnesota won their second three-game series of the 2013 season and sit at (4-2). The Twins return to action Monday when their road trip continues at Kansas City. First pitch is set for 3:10 p.m.
Earlier on Sunday, the Twins activated pitcher Anthony Swarzak from the 15-day disabled list and placed pitcher Cole de Vries on the 15-day DL with a right forearm strain.
