Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Less than two months into the 2013 season, the Minnesota Twins optioned opening day starter Vance Worley to Triple-A Rochester after giving up eight runs to the Braves on Wednesday.

Worley, who fell to 1-5 overall, gave up eight runs in 3 2/3 innings against the Braves. He has posted a 7.21 overall ERA this season for the Twins.
