Twins Swept out of ALDS For Second Straight Year

NEW YORK --- The Minnesota Twins have once again been swept by the New York Yankees in the first round of the Major League Baseball postseason.

Minnesota lost 6-1 on Saturday night, giving the Yankees a three games to none win in the American League Division Series.

Twins starting pitcher Brian Duensing went only 3.1 innings, giving up five earned runs on seven hits.

The Twins didn't get on the scoreboard until the eighth inning, when Orlando Hudson drove in Minnesota's only run with a single to center field.

Minnesota went 1-15 with RISP during the series and scored only seven runs in the three games against the Yankees.
