Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Twins have tendered contract offers to pitchers Anthony Swarzak and Brian Duensing and third baseman Trevor Plouffe, the team announced on Monday.

The deadline to offer contracts for arbitration-eligible players was 11:00 p.m. CT on Monday, meaning any player without an offer becomes an unrestricted free agent.

Duensing, meanwhile, was in his first full season as a relief pitcher and posted a 3.98 earned run average with 56 strikeouts across 61 innings.

Plouffe hit for a .254 average this past year playing as the team's primary third baseman, adding 52 runs batted in and 14 home runs to that.
