Mankato, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Vikings have been holding training camp on the campus of Minnesota State University (MSU)-Mankato for more than four decades, and that partnership will continue through at least 2015.
The Vikings and MSU-Mankato announced on Tuesday a three-year extension to the partnership, with the 2015 training camp to mark Minnesota's 50th in on the college's campus.
"Being in front of our fans for training camp is a storied team tradition," said Vikings owner Mark Wilf. "We appreciate Minnesota State University-Mankato and the city of Mankato for continuing to welcome the team and Vikings fans, and we look forward to reaching 50 years in Mankato."
This summer, the Vikings players are scheduled to report to training camp on July 25 with the first practices set for the next day, July 26.
