New York, NY (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen was the leading vote-getter for the 2011 NFL All-Pro team, falling one vote short of being a unanimous selection.
Allen set a franchise record this season with 22 sacks for the Vikings, one half-sack short of tying the all-time NFL mark.
Green Bay Packers quarerback Aaron Rodgers was also selected to the NFL All-Pro first team after leading the Packers to a league-best (15-1) record and throwing 45 touchdowns this season.
