Mankato, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- On the same day players started reporting to training camp in Mankato, Minn., the Minnesota Vikings announced the team has signed first-round draft picks Sharrif Floyd, Xavier Rhodes, and Cordarralle Patterson.

Floyd was the 23rd overall selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, the first of three picks for the team in the first round. He is the highest-drafted defensive tackle by the Vikings since Kevin Williams was taken ninth overall in 2009.

During his three seasons at Florida, Floyd recorded 115 tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, and 4.5 sacks while also earning first team all-Southeastern Conference (SEC) honors in 2012.

Rhodes, meanwhile, was taken with the 25th overall selection and marked the first time Minnesota has taken a cornerback in the first round since Dewayne Washington in 1994.

While at Florida State, Rhodes finished the 2012 season with seven passed defended and three interceptions while being given first team all-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) honors.

Patterson, finally, was chosen with the 29th overall selection in this year's draft and marked the final of three first-round selections for Minnesota.

In his only season at Tennessee, Patterson led the SEC in averaging 158.4 all-purpose yards per game and earned first team all-SEC honors.
