Vikings' Walsh Kicks to Weekly NFC Honor

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Vikings placekicker Blair Walsh has been named the NFC special teams player of the week, that after he was a perfect 5-for-5 in last Sunday's 36-22 win over St. Louis.

Three of those field goals for Walsh were from 50 or more yards, making the rookie placekicker 8-for-8 this season from that distance.

This marks the second time this season Walsh has garnered the weekly NFC honor, with the rookie kicking 29-of-32 this year with a season-long of 55 yards.
