Nathan MacKinnon scored the game-winner 3:27 into OT on Saturday night to push the Avalanche past the Wild. P.A. Parenteau knotted things up at 3-3 for Colorado with 1:14 left in regulation.

Kyle Brodziak, Zach Parise, and Matt Moulson scored for the Wild. Darcy Kuemper finished with 31 saves in goal for Minnesota.

Minnesota and Colorado will meet again on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. for game six.
