Wild's Koivu, Granlund Named to Team Finland

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) ---- Minnesota Wild forward Mikko Koivu and Mikael Granlund were named to Finland's roster on Tuesday for the Sochi Olympics, joining Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, and Nino Niederreiter as players headed to the Games.

Koivu will be making his third appearance in the Olympics, capturing a silver medal in 2006 and a bronze medal in 2010 for Team Finland. Granlund will be representing his country for the first time come February.

The Sochi Olympics open on Feb. 6 while men's ice hockey starts on Feb. 12.
