San Antonio, TX (NNCNOW.com) --- Former Minnesota Golden Gophers standout Lindsay Whalen scored 31 points to lead the Lynx past the San Antonio Spurs 94-89 in Game 2 of the Western Conference playoffs on Saturday to lift Minnesota into the conference finals.

Whalen added seven rebounds and four assists to lead Minnesota back from an 18-point deficit. Seimone Augustus racked up 21 points while WNBA MVP Maya Moore tallied 16.

The Lynx have now won nine straight playoff games which ties the WNBA record set by Los Angeles in 2001-02.

Minnesota will face the winner of Phoenix/L.A. in the Western Conference Finals.
