Wild Acquires G Ilya Bryzgalov from Oilers

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Wild has traded a fourth round pick to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The draft pick involved in the trade is the one Minnesota acquired from Buffalo last season that brought Jason Pominville to the Wild.

Bryzgalov spent the first part of this season with Edmonton, turning in an overall record of (5-8-5) with a 3.01 goals against average. In his career, which has spanned 12 seasons with four teams, he owns a record of (213-157-50) with a 2.57 goals against average.
