Wild Re-Signs Scandella to Two-Year Deal

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Wild has re-signed defenseman Marco Scandella to a two-year contract, the team officially announced on Monday afternoon.

Scandella played all five of Minnesota's postseason games in the 2012-13 season after spending much of the year with Houston in the American Hockey League (AHL).

He led Wild defenseman with a goal and an assist in the playoffs, that after he totaled two goals and 15 assists in his 45 regular season games with the Aeros.

In three seasons with the Minnesota organization, Scandella has played in 89 NHL games and totaled four goals and 11 assists.
