St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Wild were a team without energy on Monday night, falling 4-1 to St. Louis at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul to close out a short, two-game homestand.

Dany Heatley scored a second period goal for Minnesota, one of the team's few highlights in a game that featured a 12-0 turnover margin and a power play that finishes 0-for-5.

Four different players scored for St. Louis in the winning effort, with the Blues now owning a 2-0 lead in the three-game regular season series against the Wild.

Minnesota is now (21-12-2) this 2012-13 season and will next be in action at 9:30 p.m. on April 3 on the road to San Jose.
