St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Wild's 2013-14 regular season schedule was released on Friday with Minnesota playing in the inaugural season of the new Central Division.
The Wild open up the season at home against the Los Angeles Kings at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3.
For the first time in team history, every NHL team will play at the Xcel Energy Center during the season.
The Wild will play 29 games against its new division opponents, the Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Nashville Predators, St. Louis Blue, and Winnipeg Jets.
Minnesota will also play one home and one road game against every team in the Eastern Conference, a total of 32 out-of-conference games.
Of the Wild's 82 regular season games, 67 start at or before 7 p.m., with only four games in 2013 starting after 7 p.m.
The season also includes a 20-day break in February for the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games. Minnesota plays its last game before the break on Feb. 6 at home vs. Nashville and returns to the ice again Feb. 27 at Edmonton.
