Wild's Neiderreiter Makes Swiss Olympic Team

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Wild forward Nino Neiderreiter has been named to the Switzerland men's hockey team ahead of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, it was announced on Monday.

Neiderreiter has eight goals and 13 assists in 44 games this season with the Wild, making him the fifth-leading scorer while also topping the team with a plus-eight rating.

The 21-year-old has represented Switzerland three previous times at international events, but the 2014 Games will be his first time skating at the Olympics. In 10 games playing with the Swiss, Neiderreiter has five goals and three assists.
