Wild's Suter a Finalist for NHL's Norris Trophy

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter has been named one of three finalists for the NHL's Norris Trophy, which is given out each season to the league's top defenseman.

Suter becomes the first Minnesota player to be a finalist for the Norris, having totaled four goals and 28 assists during the regular season with the Wild.

He also led all NHL skaters with an average on-ice time of 27:13 per game, having logged 10 games with 30:00 or more this season.

Montreal's P.K. Subban and Pittsburgh's Kris Letang were named the other two finalists for the Norris Trophy. The winner will be announced during this season's Stanley Cup Final.
