Wild's Zucker Named to AHL All-Rookie Team

Houston, TX (NNCNOW.com) --- Houston Aeros forward Jason Zucker has been named to the American Hockey League (AHL) 2012-13 all-rookie team, it was announced on Wednesday.

Zucker has notched 24 goals and 24 assists for 48 points in 53 games for the Aeros, the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild.

A second-round draft pick by the Wild in 2010, Zucker is tied for the AHL lead with eight game-winning goals and three overtime winners. The 21-year-old native of Newport Beach, Calif. has scored 12 of his 24 goals on the power play.

Zucker has also played in 14 games with the Wild this season recording four goals and an assist in the NHL.
