Green Bay, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Tight end Jermichael Finley will remain a member of the Green Bay Packers for the upcoming 2013 season, that according to a report on nfl.com.

Monday served as a roster deadline day for Finley, with Green Bay required to pay him a $3 million bonus at 3:00 p.m. if he was not traded or released beforehand.

Finley tweeted on Monday that he was "ecstatic" to be back with the Packers, and NFL.com is reporting the team has not asked him to take a pay cut and will pay him his full $8.25 million salary in 2013.

The 25-year-old finished the 2012 season with 61 catches on 88 targets for 667 yards and two touchdowns, with the scoring production significantly down from his eight scores in 2011.
