Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love is still not ready for contact on his broken right hand and will remain out until at least next week, the team announced on Friday afternoon.
Love has been out of action for Minnesota since January, when he required surgery to repair the third and fourth metacarpal in his right hand.
The two-time All-Star originally hurt his hand in the offseason but re-injured it in a game Jan. 3 against Denver. The procedure was called a success, with a initial timetable of 8-10 weeks set for Love's return.
Love played in 18 games this 2012-13 season for Minnesota, averaging 18.3 points and 14.0 rebounds per game.
