Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to terms on a two-year, $10.4 million with guard Brandon Roy, that according to a league source speaking to nba.com.
Roy retired from professional basketball in 2011 after suffering through several knee injuries, but made it clear earlier this offseason he was prepared to attempt a comeback.
The 27-year-old guard played in 47 games for Portland in the 2010-11 season, averaging 27.9 minutes and 12.2 points per contest.
Minnesota finished with a record of (26-40) this past season, ending up 12th in the Western Conference.
