Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- When New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter takes the field on Tuesday night at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn., it'll be his last time doing so at the MLB All-Star Game, ahead of his retirement this fall.

The 40-year-old was selected for his 14th Midsummer Classic by the fans. Even though he's become a "regular" at the All-Star Game, Jeter admits it never gets old spending time in new cities.

"You know every city is unique. They're all different. Just try and enjoy each particular experience as much as you can. I feel fortunate to be a part of a lot of them, and I've enjoyed them."

Jeter finished with a pair of hits and a run scored at the 2014 All-Star Game.
