De Pere, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The official reporting day for Green Bay Packers training camp isn't until Friday, but several of the younger players showed up to the St. Norbert campus in De Pere, Wis. a day early, saying they are excited for what's the come in the next month.

"Most definitely," rookie safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix said. "I'm just here to learn this playbook and do the best I can and fight for a job."

"We've had the OTAs and things like that, so it was nice to get our feet wet a couple weeks ago," rookie wide receiver Jared Abbrederis said, "but I mean this is obviously go time so there's a little bit more pressure, but it'll be fun."

The veteran Packers players will report to camp on Friday with the team's first practice scheduled for 8:20 p.m. on Saturday.
