15 Saints Earn Academic All-NCHA Status

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- 15 combined members of the St. Scholastica men's and women's hockey team were named Wednesday as members of the academic all-conference team in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).

The Saints men had seven players receive the academic honor, and the St. Scholastica women had eight.

Carter Davis, Jeremy Dawes, and Stephane Phaneuf were all named to the academic all-NCHA team for the third time. Joining them on the men's side werre Brett Corcoran, Joel Langevin, Bobby Lipsett, and Paul Marcoux.

For the women, the eight selections come in their first year of eligibility for the academic all-NCHA sqaud.

Their members were Rachel Borchardt, Briana Stephens, Angela Schlieske, Cara, MacMinnis, Jordy Klimek, Michelle Fischer, Courtney Esse, and Briget Cojocar.
