Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Lakeview Christian Academy junior Anders Broman entered Friday night's game needing only 21 points to eclipse 3,000 points in his varsity career.

He scored 18 in the first half of his team's game against Christ's Household of Faith, leaving the home crowd on the edge of their seats for the record-breaking shot.

It came quickly in the second half, as Broman took a pass from his younger brother and scored a layup to put him at 3,001 career points.

With that, Broman became the youngest player in Minnesota basketball history to net 3,000 points and only the seventh player in state history to accomplish the feat.
