Cherry, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Lakeview Christian Academy junior Anders Broman scored 45 points on Friday night to make him the all-time leading scorer in northeastern Minnesota boy's basketball history.
Broman hit the record-setting shot midway through the first half, moving him past the 3,292 mark of 1991 Chisholm graduate Joel McDonald.
The junior guard finished the game with 3,323 career points, adding 12 rebounds and nine assists in the Lions' 98-65 win over Cherry.
The Lions are now (16-3) this season and are on the road again Saturday to take on Cromwell.
