Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD sophomore forward J.T. Brown has been ruled out of the team's series this weekend with Minnesota State-Mankato with an upper body injury.
Brown was injured in the first period of Saturday night's game against North Dakota at AMSOIL Arena after scoring the Bulldogs' first goal in an eventual 5-4 win.
Team officials said Tuesday afternoon that there is no immediate timetable for Brown's return. He was at practice Tuesday but did not skate with the team.
The sophomore has 18 goals and 21 assists this season to put him third among the Bulldogs' top scorers.
