Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The postseason awards continue to come for UMD senior Jack Connolly and sophomore J.T. Brown, this time from U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO).
Connolly, the 2012 Hobey Baker award winner, was named to the all-USCHO first team, and Brown, now with the Tampa Bay Lightning, was named to the all-USCHO third team.
Captaining the Bulldogs this season posed a great challenge for Connolly, and he responded by leading the team to its third NCAA tournament in the past four seasons.
He scored 197 points during his four-year career with the Bulldogs, placing him eighth among the program's all-time leading scorers. He also never missed a game in college, playing in 166 consecutive contests with UMD.
Brown, meanwhile, established career highs in every offensive category, recording a team-high 24 goals and 47 points this season.
The Burnsville native also became the first-ever Bulldog to score three hat tricks in a single season.
