The Duluth Clydesdales will play their first exhibition game ever on Saturday, when they face the Wisconsin Wilderness at the Northwest Sports Complex in Spooner.

Both teams are the newest entries into the Superior International Junior Hockey League, a Tier Two level league in junior hockey. It's considered a step below more familiar leagues such as the USHL, and the Ontario Hockey Leagues.

The Wilderness played as the Wisconsin Mustangs in the Minnesota Junior League last season. Former Bulldog Rod Aldoff is the head coach of the Wilderness.

Joe Dufek has more on the Clydesdales.
