Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Four curlers from Duluth are off to Sweden to compete in the 2012 World Junior Championships, that after winning the 2012 U.S. Junior National Championships in dramatic fashion.
Sonja Bauman, Anna Bauman, Elizabeth Busche, and Cory Christensen from the Duluth Curling Club won the national title by a 9-7 score over a team based in Grand Rapids.
The Christensen rink was down 7-3 early in the match but scored two points in each of the final three ends to earn the victory.
Now, the team is off to compete for Team USA in the World Junior Championships in Oestersund, Sweden.
