St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Duluth native and former Duluth Marshall star Chris Connolly was back in Minnesota this weekend, as captain of the Boston University Terriers as they played in the NCAA tournament.

The Terriers were placed in the West regional, played at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, meaning Connolly got the chance to play his first games in Minnesota since high school.

Boston was given a #3-seed and paired with #2-seed Minnesota in the West regional semifinals.

Connolly, a senior captain of Boston University, has scored nine goals and tallied 31 assists this season. His 90 career assists are the most of any Terrier since Chris Drury had 101 from 1994-98.
