Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- St. Scholastica senior Jacob Engelstad broke a pair of program records and the Saints men's tennis team won its 100th straight conference match on Saturday.

Engelstad won his 55th singles match for the Saints, breaking the record of 54 previously held by Kyle Hawley. The Thief River Falls native later won a doubles match that was his 106th overall victory, another program record.

The Saints team, meanwhile, beat North Central 9-0 for its 100th consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) win. The men have not lost a conference dual match since 1997.

St. Scholastica also defeated Bethany Lutheran 9-0 on Saturday, improving to (12-7) overall and (6-0) in the UMAC.
