Tampa, FL (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD standout J.T. Brown has now played two games with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning, and he has already made a uniform change.
Brown skated as #49 in his NHL debut on March 31 but switched to #19 for Monday's home game against Washington.
The former Bulldog skated 15 shifts for almost 12 minutes of ice time, including just under two minutes on the power play, and put five shots on goal in the game.
He has yet to record his first professional point with the Lightning, but the team has won both games Brown has skated in this season.
The Burnsville native left UMD after his sophomore season to sign with Tampa Bay, that after recording 40 goals and 44 assists during his time with the Bulldogs.
